New Plans, New Price

Yes, its true. St. Peter Life Plans now released the New Plans as approved by SEC and the Insurance Commission. And here are the details...

St. John

Same as the previous St.Andrew, contract price is still 110,000; annual payment is 22,000; semi-annual is 11,660; but quarterly is now 6,050; and the monthly is now 2,090.

ST. Paul

Same as the previous St.Christopher, contract price is 50,000; annual payment is 10,000; semi-annual is 5,300; quarterly is 2,700 but the monthly is now 950.

St. Francis

Same as the previous St.Dorothy but the contract price is now 34,200; annual payment is 6,840; semi-annual is 3,625; quarterly is 1,880 and the monthly is 650.

And the new thing here also is the Return of Premium (ROP) or what they called Money Back that will start at the end of the 16th year till end the 20th year, different from the previous plans (end of the 11th year till end the 15th year).

The 10 percent discount is still there for spot cash payment.

So before its too late, like some people I advised to before the increase.. BUY NA!

Cash Assistance
The Plan holder’s beneficiaries shall receive 100 % of the pre-need price if the plan holder dies during the paying period or within five (5) years after the full payment of the plan and the plan holder has not reached the age of 65 upon death.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Cash benefit equivalent to the pre-need price for the accidental loss of life. Loss of both hands, both feet, sight of both eyes and/ or combination thereof if the event happened within the paying period and the plan holder is between 18-55 years old.

Waiver of Premium
Be exempted from paying the installment balance in the event of an uninterrupted disability of at least six (6) months during the paying period sustained prior to the plan holder’s 65th birthday.

Unpaid Balance Deem Paid
The unpaid balance is considered paid if the plan holder passes anytime within the paying period and the plan holder is within the insurable ages of 18 to 60 years at the time of purchase of the plan.

Additional Features:
Transferable
The plan holder may transfer the plan to another living person. However, the transferee will only be entitled to the Return of Premium (ROP) is the transfer is made before the plan holder starts receiving his ROP.

Assignable
The plan holder may assign the plan to any deceased person, provided that the balance, if any, will be paid before the service will be rendered. ROP shall cease automatically once the plan is assigned.

Unrendered Services
The Plan beneficiary will receive a cash value according to a schedule if in case a memorial service was not performed.

Viewing Period of 4 days (in our accredited mortuary chapels)
Four days viewing in our accredited mortuary chapels, or in your home (for nine days) where such facility is not available.

Grace Period
You are given sixty (60) days from the due date to pay your total overdue amount without penalty.

Reinstatement
You are given two (2) years from the end of the grace period to reactivate a lapsed plan. Corresponding Reinstatement fees apply.

Contestability
Contestability period is one (1) year from the Inception of the contract or date of the last reinstatement.
